MAPI mail protocol support

I was wondering if MAPI protocol is supported or in your plans because our company doesn’t allow POP3/IMAP communication.

The mapi protocol is everything but open and requires licensing. Apart from that, many other projects have shown how fragile it can be with just a patch level in e.g. Outlook or Exchange.
