Mail box replying to ticket

Currently Zammad works great except when replying to a ticket
the mailbox used for Zammad also reply to the ticket shortly after with exactly the agent just send

I tried ingoreing the address in the filter setting but to no effect

  • Used Zammad version: 5.1.1-11
  • Used Zammad installation type: Docker Desktop
    (command: Docker compose up, default yam file)
  • Operating system: Win 11
  • Browser + version:
    1.Microsoft Edge 103.0.1264.37
    2.Google Chrome 102.0.5005.115

Zammad setup:
Incoming Mailbox: POP3
Outgoing MailBox: SMTP
mail address/server are the same

I know that Zammad recommand using IMAP instead of POP3
but currently I get stuck on verifying when I try to use IMAP
and since I am just testing out Zammad, I can’t request change to the company mail server

Expected behavior:

mail box does not replay to ticket

Actual behavior:

mail box used replays to ticket after agent send a replay to customer

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1.Replay customer on a ticket
2.wait for few second
3.mailbox replay to the ticket

1.Is this a mail server setting error?
2.Can Zammad workaround this?

Ensure to configure all Zammad email address for your accounts (add all aliases as well).
This issue then will not appear because Zammad removes it’s own email addresses if you reply on tickets where several email addresses of Zammad are configured.
