Let user Choose priority

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: Version 5.4.1-1682353624.7a4b5926.buster
  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: Debian Buster
  • Browser + version: Chrome 113

Expected behavior:

The user should be able to choose the priority of a given ticket

Actual behavior:

The field is not visible and greyed out under objects. A core Workflow with choose priority as a mandatory value does nothing.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

I remember vaguely that in an earlier verion of Zammad I was able to switch the visbility of that field. Did it move somewhere else?

Switching priorities as customers of Tickets is not supported in Zammad. If it was, it was a temporary issue (bug).

You can overcome this with a second priority field in combination with a set of triggers updating the ticket priority straight if you really need it.
