Expected behavior:

Good morning, we have a problem with the knowledge base search bar, it does not search correctly, meaning that the word typed is not the first one displayed.
It should bring only the word in the title of an article as the first result, and then go for lower results like within the body of articles.
Has anyone experienced this kind of problem before?
Do you know how to fix or try to fix it?
Thank you very much everyone!

If you want to limit the results to answers that include your search term in the title, you can define that in the search term:

title:searchterm instead of searchterm

If I understand correctly the solution you propose works using the search bar.
What we are trying to solve is at the absolute level, in the sense that we would like a search hierarchy where first result would show the word if contained in the title, then in case of a mismatch it should show the results contained in the body of the article.
We would like to understand where we can edit the code for the search bar.

Thank you for your response and helpfulness!

Oh, okay. This is beyond my knowledge. Maybe someone more experienced with the source code may step in.

I hope someone has understood the problem and can give us some solutions to try.
In the meantime, thank you for the answers.
