Issues with upgrading from debian 10 to 11 to 12

Hi!

I ran “apt update” and “apt upgrade” under Debian 10.8 and forgot to stop Zammad. After that Zammad was not able to startup, so i recovered the directory “/opt/zammad” from a backup. Then i could start it, but found out, that the search doesn’t work anymore. There are no results anymore at all.

Then i upgraded Debian from 10 to 11. And after that directly from 11 to 12. I expected to have Zammad 6.2.0 now, but it’s still 6.0.0.

I think, it was not a good idea to restore the /opt/zammad directory, because it doesn’t match to the whole environment.

The current status is Debian 12.4 with a working Zammad 6.0.0 and still without a working search function.

Does anybody have an idea, how to get Zammad to version 6.2?

Many thanks in advance.
Marc

You also have to upgrade the postgres cluster etc. Also Zammad packages are OS specific so Bullseye Debian needs bullseye packages as example.
