We have seen some attempts to defraud us or our customers in the last weeks. Oftentimes, these scammers capture an existing ticket thread where they reply to a valid ticket but with a faked email account which resembles the original one. Most often the visible Name is the same but the actual email address changes.
As these attacks are quite difficult to see, when they are well done, it would be great to have some kind of warning when the email address changes during a thread. Similar to those warnings in Signal, WhatsApp etc. when someone changes her phone.
Is this possible in any way?
No Zammad has no logic for that as of now.
