Import and Export all Data from one Instanz to an other Instanz

Hello,

Is it possible to export all data in Zammad from one instance and import it into another?

What options do we have and which would be the most useful and easiest? And what exactly would we need to do?

Can someone please help us?

  • Used Zammad version: 6.0
  • Used Zammad installation type: Package
  • Operating system: Windows 10
  • Browser + version: Firefox 115.12.0

Expected behavior:

  • Export contains all data

Actual behavior:

  • Can’t find an export function for the data anywhere

Hello,

what I do to export/import from production to staging is usually restore a backup.

Important remark for staging:

Keep in mind this also affects email channels. This is nunber one pit fall where admins search tickets that are nit created but notifications are send. Make sure to disable mail accounts before backing up for a staging restore.
