How to add an object that is related to a status?

In our ticket office we need to have a field called “closing date” where the agent can enter this date manually, in addition to the automatic closing date that exists.

But this closing date field, we want it to be related to the status of the ticket, that is, if the status is closed, the “closing date” should be required, otherwise it should not be requested.

Any suggestions to be able to do this?
