Hide agent e-mail in message details zammad web

  • Used Zammad version: 5.2
  • Used Zammad installation type: docker-compose
  • Operating system: centos

Expected behavior:

  • Customers do not see agent address e-mail in zammad web

Actual behavior:

  • Customer can see agent mail in messege details

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • I have changed Sender Format in settings to ‘System address display name’ and still in case of agent reply by mail to ticket, customer can see agent mail in Zammad web. We do not want that. Any ideas how to change that properly? Shown in image below


This is what I’m seeing in my test instance as a customer:

The from address shows the email address of the group in question - it does not disclose the agents email address. Please make sure that the customer you’re talking about is really a customer and does not have any agent permissions.
