Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 6.3.1-1718860451.0f341764.jammy
  • Used Zammad installation type: (source, package, docker-compose, …)
  • Operating system: Ubuntu
  • Browser + version: Firefox+Chrome

Expected behavior:

  • Is it possible to configure Zammad to authenticate users via GitLab OAuth and restrict their access based on their project or group memberships in GitLab? If so, can anyone provide guidance or examples on how to implement this?

Actual behavior:

  • Every user accessing the Gitlab instance can login into Zammad

No that’s not possible without e.g. LDAP mapping.
