got Zammad running on Debian 12, most recent version.
That software is really really great, therefore I cannot understand why the simplest of features is not available like getting rid of this stupid “First Steps” tab on the dashboard?
Does this even vanish if you check all the steps? I don’t think so, because even if I complete some of these steps, they don’t get a checkmark.
If it even isn’t working right then why bothering at all? Nobody wants this. Also nobody wants to setup all these things like twitter for example.
How hard can it be to have an option to remove this tab???
Sorry, this is really frustrating, because the rest is so good …
This is how it looks for me, I completed all steps under “Konfiguration”. But the last two just don’t get a checkmark. Is it because of LDAP-Login? We don’t want to use Twitter, Facebook etc.
Also it is not me alone, there are about 250 other agents that get distracted by this and try to get rid of it by having all steps checked (this is how non IT staff is ticking). But they can’t, even if they tried, because inviting other agents and customers should first of all not be working (agents at least, because of the LDAP login) and second of all: I tried to invite external Agents and Customers (Users were created) but the checkmarks are still missing.
I mean, this is such an easy and small feature request. I get it why it’s there in the beginning and thats cool, but once completed it should go away (like in every other software). Also one should be able to (but not have to) complete all steps (but that maybe a problem of our config, I don’t know).
Yep…this drives me nuts. It’s an incomplete step that is constantly telling me there is something to do, but there is nothing to do. I used CSS to hide it.
