Infos:
- Used Zammad version: 6.5.0-1753334673.cc7247b2.bookworm
- Used Zammad installation type: Proxmox LXC with Script: Proxmox VE Helper-Scripts
Expected behavior:
-
- When I connect my email account via IMAP, it should be possible to import existing emails as archives.
-
1.1 There is an option to leave the emails on the server during import.
Actual behavior:
-
- When creating an email mailbox, the import dialog opens and shows me that, for example, X emails are present on the server. However, emails marked as read on the server are not imported. Only emails marked as unread are imported. I see a mistake here. This dialog is supposed to be for exactly that purpose, right? If I mark the emails as unread before connecting, they are imported as archives, closed, and with the original date, as desired.
-
1.1 When adding the email account and entering the correct details for the email account, the wizard immediately appears to import the emails. At this point, I don’t have the option to leave the emails on the server. This is possible if the login details for the email account are deliberately entered incorrectly; then the window with all the account settings appears. In this window, it is then possible to specify at the very bottom that the emails should be left on the server. This option should always be available. Otherwise, I can’t decide whether the emails should remain on the server or not.
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- See the points above
Another technical question.
Is it possible and/or possible to import sent emails as archives in order to merge them with incoming and imported emails?
