Firstname and lastname are mandatory or not

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 6.5
  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: Ubuntu
  • Browser + version: Chrome

Expected behavior:

We want leaving as empty the user lastname while user creation in our zammad helpdesk application.
If we leave lastname as emtpy any functionalities will be affect in the application for users?
It can reduce the application performance gradually or anything affect for major functionalities?

Actual behavior:

*The safe and smart method is adding firstname and lastname without leave as empty.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Please clarify this process we can go or not.
