Adding in EMail via Google, Outlook etc functions flawlessly.
Actual behavior:
Implementing Email via 2Strato" isn’t working (timeout, idle for to long)
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
I tried to add my “Strato” Email given by the company, which doesn’t work. I controlled the domain, password and ports several times, but after i finish editing the expert mode the message “Error, idle for to long” shows up. Adding in Email via other provided is working properly.
openssl s_client -host imap.strato.de -port 993 -crlf

I installed it freshly today on an ubuntu server 20.04 and can’t see the “idle for too long” message anymore, but it shows, that the host isn’t reachable which isn’t the case. Hope the Screenshots make it a bit more clear.
Zammad has zero issues with Strato. We have dozens customers on Strato and others.
The error you receive is a direct message that appears due to whatever issue.
Zammad cannot communicate with the mail server in question. This can have several reasons, most likely is caused by proxies or firewall issues. This is not a Zammad specific issue.
