Thank you,.

Really? We have dozens of this kind of question on this board and Microsoft is telling it’s users since over two years that it’s deactivating Basic Authentication (aka username and password…) for email accounts. The deadline for that was the 1st October.

So… what can you do? The only thing you can do is to finally switch to the Microsoft 365 channel which is made for exactly this scenario.

So, do you mean SSL is no longor in use on Microsoft site?
what about TLS , how to add this in options for Inbound connection in zammd?

Which part of Microsoft no longer allows you to connect email accounts by username & password did you not understand?
This has nothing to do with connection security.

Your only option is to switch to Zammads Microsoft 365 channel. Have a look on the above posted documentation it will guide you through.

Please read this article: Basic Authentication and Exchange Online – September 2021 Update - Microsoft Community Hub

there you can temporary re-enable legacy authentication for IMAP and SMTP (in your case its POP3)

for a permanent solution, you will need to change the Email integration to 365 Integration using Oauth 2.0 instead of legacy auth

please note, if your 365 does not allow user consent for enterprise application (365) you will need to upgrade to Zammad 5.2.3 to support admin consent

!

smtp is fine but getting error in imap.

Do i need to need to change the Email integration to Microsoft 365 Integration?

Upgrade to latest Zammad version (Zammad 5.2.3 right now)

As mentioned several times now, after upgrading please switch to the Microsoft 365 channel.
