E-mail only when the status of a ticket changes


i have already tried a few things with the triggers. But I can’t manage to set a trigger in such a way that an email is sent to the customer when the status changes, but as soon as a note is written afterwards (these are public in our standard system), no new email is sent.
The customer can get interim information by logging into the ticket, or we can send it explicitly via the e-mail option.

Am I just blind and can’t find the right option, or is there no provision for something like this?
