Displaying a count of how many tickets are currently selected

1) What is your original issue/pain point you want to solve?

Enhance the user experience when selecting multiple tickets by displaying a count of how many tickets are currently selected. This is especially useful when performing actions like mass changes or executing macros.

2) Which are one or two concrete situations where this problem hurts the most?

  • When selecting tickets on multiple pages, we do not have anymore direct visibility to manually count
  • When selecting many tickets for bulk actions, it’s hard to know how many are selected without counting manually.
  • During quality control or ticket review, I need to be sure I’m acting on the right number of tickets.

3) Why is it not solvable with the Zammad standard?
The multi-selection feature exists, but there is no visible counter showing the number of selected tickets, which affects clarity and user confidence.

4) What is your expectation/what do you want to achieve?
I want to have a visible count (“5 tickets selected”) when selecting multiple tickets. This would improve usability and reduce errors during bulk operations.

Only as a short hint, I think currently you can not select tickets over multiple pages.
