Disable ticket creation via web interface for certain user groups

Hello,

we are currently looking for a way to disable the ticket creation via web interface for certain user groups/roles, while at the same time keeping the overviews of the respective users visible with existing tickets.

Currently if you revoke the Ticket->Customer permission from a role then both the create new ticket “plus” sign is gone but also their ticket overviews.
Is there some way to achieve this with the current Zammad version?

No this is not possible at all. Those persons could still create tickets via mail (even if you could deny the UI part) so what’s the sense to restrict the UI?

hmm that is unfortunate.
We can handle the email channel with some trigger trickery no problem.
For the web UI we could maybe also apply some form of filtering via trigger. But it would be way more elegant if we could simply restrict the “green plus” :wink:
