Direct upgrade from 6.3.1 to 6.5: is it supported?

We are currently running Zammad 6.3.1, deployed with RPM (AlmaLinux 9). I was wondering if upgrading directly to 6.5 is supported. Documentation says that major version must no be skipped. But there is nothing saying explicitely that skipping minor versions is always supported…

Thanks in advance for confirming if it is supported or if it is recommended to deply 6.4.x first?

Michel

I don’t see a problem with jumping from 6.3.1 to 6.5. Just read and condense all release nodes and breaking changes down the road before you do.

I just did the same. Upgrade from 6.3.1 directly to 6.5.0 (on Debian) without any issues.
I read the changelogs and all I need to take care of, was a search index rebuild.
Just have a look here: News, Updates, Releases | Zammad
