Customer authentication in chat

  • Used Zammad installation type:docker
  • Operating system: Ubuntu
  • Browser + version: firefox 87

Hello, I was reading in the admin docs that i can integrate with LDAP or SAML for users authentication, but how to authenticate customers in the chat widget added to the website? is there a certain javascript code needed? or a parameter to pass to Zammad? and how to prevent unauthenticated users from using the chat widget?

The user chat is completely anonymous.
You can’t enforce authentication in any way to it. Sorry.
