Customer always sees all groups when opening a ticket

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 6.4.1
  • Used Zammad installation type: (Package)
  • Operating system: Ubuntu
  • Browser + version: Microsoft Edge Latest

I don’t want a group of customers to see it. I have created a Business Central group

I have also created a corresponding role and assigned agents to it.

Customers do not have access to this group.

No matter what I do. When a customer creates a ticket, they always see the group Business Central.

I want the group to be visible only to agents. The user shouldn’t have to worry about it.

Thank you for the link. Unfortunately I don’t understand what exactly I should do now. Can you explain this to me in more detail using an example?

If you go to Channels>Web, you’re gonna see a section named “Group selection for Ticket creation”. It is a dropdown list with all your groups. The ones you select there will be available to your customers. So, you must select only the ones that should be available for them.
