Check if field is empty

Expected behavior:

  • Check if a self created date field is empty

Actual behavior:

  • I can only check the value but not if it is empty

Hello,
I have create a new priority named “Datum”. We use this to define that a ticket must be solve before a date. For this I have create a new fild “zu erledigen bis” (solve before:).
Now an agent can chose the option “Datum” but set no date.
Is it possilbe to check in a triger oder an automatation that the field is empty?

That’s currently not possible, however, spoilers:
Zammad 5.0 will come with core workflow which doesn’t only allow value depended display of fields but also change the mandatory state of a field.
