Chats are not being indexed or searchable

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 3.4
  • Used Zammad installation source: package
  • Operating system: CentOS Linux release 7.8.2003 (Core)
  • Browser + version: Microsoft Edge version 83.0.478.58 (Official build) (64-bit)

Expected behavior:

  • Chats are indexed and searchable

Actual behavior:

  • Chats are not searchable

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Start a chat with a customer, use the word e.g. Warszawa during the conversation and try to find this chat using a search bar and this word.

I am a newbie in Zammad. I am not sure how to check whether there is an issue with indexing or with the search itself.
I am not able to find any chats in my Zammad.

I will appreciate any kind of help.

Sorry but I can’t reproduce that.

Ensure that your Elasticsearch is configured and running.
If it is running, you could try reindexing to ensure that your index is up to date.
