Channels like Facebook and Telegram are not working

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 3.5
  • Used Zammad installation source: DEB Repo
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 18.04
  • Browser + version: Chrome 85.0.4183.121

  • SSL certificate: fullchain
  • SSL format: pem
  • SSL CA: Let’s Encrypt

Expected behavior:

  • Sucessfully connect to Facebook with the App ID & Secret und fetch messages and posts
  • Sucessfully connect to Telegram with API key to fetch messages

Actual behavior:

  • Facebook: error msg “SSL_connect returned=1 errno=0 state=error: certificate verify failed (unable to get local issuer certificate)”
  • Telegram: error msg “Invaild API key” when trying to set up the API connection

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Set up a new channel that uses API to connect to a 3rd party service, i.e. Telegram or Facebook

Please ensure that your system can verify the certificates of facebook and telegram.
This may be an issue with your local CA store and is not directly related to Zammad.

Thank you very much - I reinstalled Zammad and OpenSSL and it works now.
