Changing Database from MySQL/MariaDB to PostgreSQL

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 2.4.x
  • Used Zammad installation source: 2.4.0-1526026654.ff4e4365.stretch
  • Operating system: Debian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch)
  • Browser + version: any

I installed Zammad 2.3 (upgraded to Zammad 2.4) on Debian 9 with a MyriaDB 10.1.26-0+deb9u1 and Apache 2.4.25-3+deb9u4.
(installed Apache2 and MariaDB fisrst and then Zammad)
Now i’m testing Zammad on Debian 9 with nginx and postgresql…

Question:

Is there a way to convert the MySQL SQL - Dump (created with /opt/zammad/contrib/backup/zammad_backup.sh) to an PostgreSQL - Dump?

Has anyone done that successfully?

Hint:

Renaming datetime_zammad_db.mysql.gz to datetime_zammad_db.psql.gz doesn’t work for /opt/zammad/contrib/backup/zammad_restore.sh. (as i expected)
