Change the iCal Calendar to that it is possible to add to Outlook 365

Title: change the iCal Calendar to that it is possible to add to Outlook 365

  1. What is your original issue/pain point you want to solve?
We use Outlook 365 in our Environment and if I want to add the Agent calendar it is not possible because the online Version do not want it.
  2. Which are one or two concrete situations where this problem hurts the most?
To see not the Tickets which would be escalated at this time.
  3. Why is it not solvable with the Zammad standard?
Because that is a internal thing of Zammad to change I think.
  4. What is your expectation/what do you want to achieve?
To have the calendar in Outlook.

If there is any more useful information, feel free to share it all (e.g.: mockup screenshots, if something is UI related, or the API URL/documentation URL for a service you need a connection to).

Your Zammad environment: Self Hosted

  • Average concurrent agent count: 10
  • Average tickets a day: 20
  • What roles/people are involved: Agent

Anything else which you think is useful to understand your use case:

Thank you and have fun.

Hey Mate!
Not an Zammad engineer here, but I tinkered with Outlook Calender integrations.
Did you “Subscribe to a calendar” or did you “Import a calendar”?
Do you see “No Events at all” or is “the refreshment rate low”?
How long is the time, when the “Estimated time until escalation” is determined to the time it will happen?

Microsoft says, that you should expect a delay of 3 to 24 hours. (And neither you or Microsoft Support have an Option to lower that, or at least set to 3 hours).

Maybe that helps

Dee

It‘s not possible, because basic authentication isn‘t supported by Microsoft, but required by Zammad. It should learn to handle tokens in calendar scope or something like that.
