Infos:
- Used Zammad version: 4.0.X
- Used Zammad installation type: (source, package, docker-compose, …) package
- Operating system: Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS
- Browser + version: Brave 1.28.106, Firefox 91.0.2
I installed Zammad for testing with a Let’s Encrypt certificate. Now 3 months have passed and I want to switch to a wildcard certificate.
are there instructions or recommendations for this?
I’m not very fit with Ubuntu.
I am grateful for any help.
Certificate stuff kinda is out of our application scope.
There are a lot of useful documentations and howtos that would help you on this path.
You basically want to get a new certificate to replace the existing one.
So “switching” is not exactly what you’re looking for.
Wildcard certificates require dns based issueing - you’ll have to ensure that this is something you or your provider can provide.
For certbot this is described here:
https://certbot.eff.org/docs/using.html?highlight=wildcard#dns-plugins
For acme.sh it’s described here:
