Cant decrypt incoming Mail if on bcc

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 6.3.1-1721734504.b6ba68bf.focal
  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: Linux 20.04
  • Browser + version: Firefox and Chrome

Expected behavior:

  • Decryption of Mail

Actual behavior:

  • Cant decypt Mail
  • Trys to decrypt Sender ā†’ Primary Receiver

Encryption: The private key for decryption could not be found.

As far as Iā€™m aware, encryption happens based on the recipient, which is why you cannot do that if having people in (B)CC. This does seem to differ from how PGP works, based on a very quick and dirty google search from my end.

When I download the received mail and open it with Outlook, I can decrypt the received message and view the contents.

I have found an article from otrs that shows that it does work:

I would like to see something like this in Zammad
