The documentation says this:
Be aware that granting users the reporting permission may leak information. On the one hand, users could see ticket metadata that they do not actually have access to.
Also it doesn‘t say a word about limitting access. So no, that is not possible. Use Grafana with clean access permissions to specific dashboards and you‘ll be good.
Thanks for your response.
With the next release, you can configure allowed roles inside the report profile configuration:

reporting
As an admin I want to limit reporting profiles to selected roles (similar to ove… rviews) to increase the usefulness of the reporting feature.

## Why?
Currently, permission wise the reporting is an all-or-nothing-tool. Above's enhancement would allow admins to provide team leaders with limited access to the reporting for only their relevant tickets.
## Use Case
Team leader support should get a basic reporting tool with which he can only access tickets from the support group(s).
### Acceptance criteria
- This story is about limiting access to profiles, not adding a complete ticket permission system to reporting (=same behaviour like in current implementation)
- If you don't add a role to a profile, it should be available to everyone with the `reporting` permission (which is not like that in overviews, as they have "role" as a mandatory field)
