Bug? Agent notification email issue

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 4.1.0
  • Used Zammad installation type: (source, package, docker-compose, …) package
  • Operating system: Linux Debian 10
  • Browser + version: Firefox, Linux

Expected behavior:

  • Email notification sould be sent to a number of agents.

Actual behavior:

  • The mails are sent in a sequence. If the smtp send process to one of the agents fails (i.e. address unknown/wrong) , the process stopps. All the agents with correct addresses fllowing the failed one do not receive an email.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

I’d love to see the proving log lines of this.
Zammad has a built in functionality to learn about failing email addresses for agents and ignores those for some time until it tries again.

If the email address of other agents were working without issues before, Zammad will keep on sending them mail. The issue you describe may not be related to Zammad.
