Automate ticket owner according to current agent

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 6.3
  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: debian 11

Expected behavior:

  • To make it easier for support technicians to enter tickets into Zammad, I would like the ticket owner to be pre-filled by the current user in the creation form if he has the ‘Agent’ role. is it possible?

Hello Ours,

with common used utils/functions given by the system it isn’t possible right now.
But there is a function you maybe can “misuse” for this in special
circumstances:

Please have a look to admin-menu under “Settings/Ticket/Auto Assignment”.
When enabled, maybe with some conditions for some special groups that wants to have this behavior, there is a auto assignment when agents first open a ticket.

Now there is the trick: When creating a ticket via agent role → this ticket opens automaticly after creation and within this process the owner is now set.
