Is there an option to auto-assign the current user as a customer on ticket creation ?
It can be configured in the trigger menu. Need to play a little bit with logical expressions
you can’t leave it blank when you customer creates new ticket, trigger will be executed after the ticket creation.
But the customer has to fill his name before, and this is something that I want to be automatically.
I will try to explain it again,
A customer has a simple ticket creation process, that requires to fill minimal fields.
An agent has the option to open tickets for customers, but agents also customers for other groups, I would like to simplify agent ticket creation process by auto filling the customer field with the current user (the agent)
That is not possible. Setting the correct customer right away does help a lot. In most scenarios the agent usually is not the customer if they create a ticket for a customer.
