Title: Ask before delete changes in KB
- What is your original issue/pain point you want to solve?
My work colleagues are annoyed by the Zammad knowledgebase. After editing a KB-Article they sometimes forget the refresh button and just click on the button that started the edit: edit. What happens? All changes to the KB article are gone. No query or warning, just gone.
- Which are one or two concrete situations where this problem hurts the most?
After writing a big KB-Articles all along with pictures etc. And if you then forgot that you have to click the refresh button, as you dont write often in the KB, its all just gone… Looses alot time!
Also this blocks our effort to better our documentations using Zammad.
- Why is it not solvable with the Zammad standard?
As it doesnt detect changes or just doesnt ask if you really wanna loose your changes.
- What is your expectation/what do you want to achieve?
When clicking again on the edit button I want to get asked if it should clear your changes or if you wanna update the KB-article with your changes.
Your Zammad environment:
- Average concurrent agent count: ~10
- Average tickets a day: ~15
- What roles/people are involved: IT department in healthcare
Thanks alot for your time. I hope others want this too or zammad team thinks this should obviously get implemented.
(Also if not possible it would already be a tiny bit better to not put the update button all the way to the bottom, but probably let it fly on the same height on the right?)
(Btw thanks for implementing checklists - we LOVE that feature!)
