AI rewrite of subject uses wrong language

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 7.0.1-1780482436.ce735a3.ubuntu22
  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 22.04
  • Browser + version: Version 149.0.4022.52

Expected behavior:

AI agent should use german when rewriting subjects. All of our tickets are in german, our team speaks german, all of our coworkers speek german. No need to change to english.

Actual behavior:

I’m using the new version of Zammad with Ollama and llama3.1. It works fine for me. But the AI agent doesn’t stick to german as language, but uses english textes for rewritten subjects.

Example:
‘Neuer Ordner Arbeitsgruppe XYZ’ → ‘Request for new folder “ABC” with access rights’

The new subject has much more information in it. I love this function. But it would be even better, if it would stick to german.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Hard to reproduce… it doesn’t happen every time.

I think it could be related to the current LLM used :slight_smile: You should maybe change to llama3.2 or something like mistral-small3.2 and test it again (or did you try gemma 4 already?).

Thanks for your reply. I’m very new to this AI stuff, and still doing reserach.

I played a bit with the models, and will give gemma4 a try.
