Title: Add to the backup script all tickets on the instance
Hello, i dont know if it’s really a feature request or a technical assistance but i’ll try it with feature request. Feel free to change the categories if it’s not.
-
What is your original issue/pain point you want to solve?
At this time we (my company) don’t backup our zammad instance. I’ve been reading the docs and i see that the backup didn’t backup the tickets.
Did you plan to add tickets in the backup script? -
Which are one or two concrete situations where this problem hurts the most?
In my situations i believe that is an issue because if we loose our instance of Zammand and need to restore it we loose track of every demand before the backup. -
Why is it not solvable with the Zammad standard?
The backup script didn’t backup tickets -
What is your expectation/what do you want to achieve?
Add the tickets in the backup script. So if i have to restore my zammad instance i dont loose track of the activities.
I dont know how it works but maybe we can use the tickets ID in the restore process.
Your Zammad environment:
- Average concurrent agent count: 5
- Average tickets a day: 10 - 30
- What roles/people are involved: agents and customers
Feel free to ask if i miss some informations to understand my needs.
Best regards
