What SMTP auth is using by Zammad? Basic or OAUTH?

for email channels you can already set up an OAuth app according to these instrutcions:

Then you can set up a M$ 365 Mail account in Zammad

For the notification system you might need to add a to this feature request as it does not support other auth methods as of now:

Email Notification channel must implement OAuth authentication

Hi, Since Microsoft and Google disable the basic authentication for SMTP, we cannot anymore use the Email channel to allow Zammad to send notification. It would be nice if we can have in the drop box “Mails send via” of the Notification by Email dialog box the ability to select account setup like Microsoft 365 or Google. Thanks for this awesome tool !
