Using Zammad as a lightweight CRM for our sales team?


We are migrating from freshdesk this week. And I am thinking about moving our sales team to Zammad once we have finished moving our support team over. Making it easier for our separate teams to cooperate and have all conversations on the same platform sounds like it would be very nice.

Our sale’s teams needs are very basic so I was thinking about using Zammad as a lightweight CRM as well. Since I want my support agents to have access to the same information about costumers and potential customers that are testing our product. Our product is a plattform for daycare/preschools so our customers are municipalities and private schools.

Does anyone here have any experience with using Zammad as a lightweight CRM, or good advice on how to use Zammad for moving Sales and Support closer to each other?
