Tammad - Native iOS Client for Zammad

Tammad - Native iOS Client for Zammad (Looking for Beta Testers)

Hello everyone,

I'd like to introduce Tammad, a native iOS client for Zammad. I've been working on it and would love to get your feedback.

What is Tammad?

A native iOS app built with SwiftUI that lets you manage your Zammad tickets on your iPhone or iPad. It's designed to be fast, intuitive, and feel native on iOS.

Key Features:

  • Native iOS Experience - Built with SwiftUI
  • Ticket Management - View, create, and update tickets from your iPhone
  • Rich Content Support - Full HTML rendering and attachment handling
  • Powerful Search - Find tickets quickly
  • Notifications - Overview of unread notifications with badge counts (no Push)
  • Security - Credentials stored securely in iOS Keychain
  • Dark Mode - Optimized for light and dark appearances
  • Multi-language - Supports German and English

Would You Like to Help Test?

I'm looking for beta testers to help improve the app before the App Store release. If you're interested, I can provide a TestFlight link.

What You'll Need:

  • An iOS device (iPhone/iPad)
  • Access to a Zammad instance (self-hosted or managed)
  • A few minutes to share feedback

What I'd Love Your Help With:

  • General usability and navigation
  • Ticket creation and editing workflows
  • Search functionality
  • Notification handling
  • Any bugs or issues you encounter
  • Ideas for improvements

If you're interested in testing I'll share the TestFlight link

Thanks, Thomas

What is the benefit for using the native app over the webapp?

good question - to be honest, this is primarily a personal project—I prefer native apps. I’m also exploring push notifications, though I’m not fully satisfied with my current approach.

Great idea! It i can help testing let me know how i can access it and i will check it out!

Perfect. Love to here that. It took a little bit longer because i had to figure out how to deal with push notifications, but they are working now. Its already in the App Testflight review process - hopefully i will be available in the next 2 days.

@MrGeneration I’ve found a convenient way to implement push notifications. However, this requires installing a package on your Zammad instance. Does this (package installation) also work in the cloud version, or only in the self-hosted version?

I cannot answer your SaaS specific question, I am no longer working for Zammad. Back when I did it was not possible. I also doubt that if they’d allow such a thing, that’d allow third party vendor packages (because of liability reasons).

You’ll have to check with their sales / support yourself.
