Hi guys
I am currently writing an user sync service in order to keep our instance up to date with the data from the CRM by using the API.
I just discovered that while fetching an user object there are fields which hint that you can assign an user to multiple organizations. Is this correct?
I thought this is not possible (https://github.com/zammad/zammad/issues/1573 )

No it’s not possible to assign more than one organization.
The reason for that is the reference:
t.string :session_id, null: false
t.boolean :persistent, null: true
t.text :data
t.timestamps null: false
end
add_index :sessions, :session_id
add_index :sessions, :updated_at
add_index :sessions, :persistent
create_table :users do |t|
t.references :organization, null: true
t.string :login, limit: 255, null: false
t.string :firstname, limit: 100, null: true, default: ''
t.string :lastname, limit: 100, null: true, default: ''
t.string :email, limit: 255, null: true, default: ''
t.string :image, limit: 100, null: true
t.string :image_source, limit: 200, null: true
t.string :web, limit: 100, null: true, default: ''
t.string :password, limit: 100, null: true
t.string :phone, limit: 100, null: true, default: ''
t.string :fax, limit: 100, null: true, default: ''
Well I knew that but hopes do die last…
I tested it and discovered that although not working in the frontend if you set
Organization_ids
With valid IDs the system does recognize that and update the field
Organizations
Hence the hopes…
