Import LDAP stalls after some time

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: This is Zammad version 6.1.0-1698142833.c4a2d029.jammy
  • Used Zammad installation type: Ubuntu Package
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS
  • Browser + version:

Expected behavior:

  • LDAP sync to continue function without scheduler worker restart every so often

Actual behavior:

  • LDAP sync no longer functions and requires scheduler worker to be restarted

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • 90000 plus LDAP users to sync

  • After several days a health status of Import::LDAP has stalled

This is still an issue even with the latest version of Zammad. I am not sure why this happens but it is intermittent as to the failure and it getting hung.

I am enabling logging as defined in this article as it is continuing to hang right now and I wish to pinpoint what is happening if possible: Ldap sync tcp errors - Technical assistance - Zammad - Community

Any other logging that I can enable to help chase down this issue?
