Hello,

I am currently looking into how others have implemented solutions for data deletion and retention, specifically from a technical/server-side perspective.

I am not interested in the legal or compliance aspects, but rather in the practical solutions you have implemented to manage data retention and automated deletion.

We have been running a self-hosted instance for about a year, and we are currently seeing approximately a 1.5–2% daily increase in filesystem storage usage.

I would be interested to hear about your experience and any recommendations regarding how you have approached this, including retention policies, automated deletion, storage management, or any other solutions you have found effective.

Any advice or examples of your setup would be greatly appreciated.
