# What is the difference between Group and Organisation

Hi,
apologies if this question is to trivial, but i couldn’t fully understand the difference between an organisation and a group. I know, that Organisations are meant to distinguisch Customers, but what functions do Groups have? Are they meant to organise Agents?

I’m closing this ticket, as i found some description of both in the docs. Still i’m missing some infos on how to use both of them.
