Web notification not working for customer

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: This is Zammad version 5.2.x
  • Used Zammad installation type: package => dnf
  • Operating system: Rocky Linux (CentOS)
  • Browser + version: Firefox (103.0) , chrome

Expected behavior:

  • Customer receives web notification (zammad bird) after agent responds

Actual behavior:

  • the Customer does not receive a web notification

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Customer: create a ticket.
  • Agent: responds to the request.
  • Customer: is not notified by one (1) next to the bird of the web interface

N.B: Notifications work well for agents

As the documentation states, notifications are for agents and not customers.
