Unable to use pictures

Used Zammad version: 3.2.x
Used Zammad installation source: (source, package, …) package
Operating system: Debian10
Browser + version: Google Chrome 79.0.3945.117

Hi,

after a fresh installation I am unable to use pictures, no matter where (signature, ticket, email, …). They simply dont show up.

Example:
I open a ticket, copy a picture from my desktop or from some website and paste it, nothing happens.

Am I doing something wrong?

I’m not sure what your client operating system is, but I suspect it is everything than MacOS.
You need to copy the images content.

Going to your desktop, hitting copy and then paste into Zammad will not work for various reasons. This is working as designed.

If I’m off with my aniticipation, please provide a step by step description on how to repdoce this.

You are right, we use Windows 10 / Google Chrome / Mozilla Firefox. Sorry for not including this in the first post.

Can you explain that? What exactly do you mean by “copy the images content”?

Ah graphical tool would work as an example, you could also use a fitting image viewer.

Ah, I got it.
Its just the old “Windows Photo Viewer” that somehow doesnt work. The default app “Pictures” works fine.
