Tip for quickly enabling SSL verification on existing mail accounts

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 6.2.x
  • Used Zammad installation type: (source, package, docker-compose, …) any
  • Operating system: any
  • Browser + version: any

With Zammad 6.2 the verification of SSL certificates has been improved drastically. Do keep Email channels in working order with the upgrade, existing Email channels are set to “SSL verification = off”. ( See Release Notes for more )

Now you can run through your channels manually to enable the verification manually which is fine for one channel… If you have more than one Channel, my helper to verify and enable (if supported) might come in handy.

The following link directs you to the gist in question. Should I find bugs or issues with it I’ll be updating it. It’s easier to have it in one place than in several so please excuse it’s this way.
