Ticket doesn't disappear from the sidebar


  • Used Zammad version: 3.2.X
  • Used Zammad installation source: (source, package, …)
  • Operating system: Windows 10
  • Browser + version: Chrome, Firefox, different versions

Expected behavior:

  • closed Ticket is closed in the sidebar.

Actual behavior:

  • closed ticket is shown every logon

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Not reproducible, only with one user

I’ve deleted the ticket in the DB but at every logon, the ticket is shown in the sidebar.
Browser Cache was deleted, different Browser and machines are tested.

That is default behaviour.
You need to remove the ticket from the tab bar on the left side. Click the “X” and you’ll be good to go.

Sorry, I didn’t make myself clear.
I know, but this isn’t working.
If it’s removed, it’ll show up the next time you log on.

Anything special about that user?
Maybe a browser issue? Did you try another browser?

You could also try to overtake the users session as administrator from your browser and remove one tab entry for testing. If it is persistent, there might be issues with e.g. addons from that browser.

No, nothing. There’s no difference between this and other users.
No, it isn’t. Different Browser and computers, in the session as administrator the same issue.

Please check your production log file, I’m sure it screams with “WARN” or “ERROR”, the reason should be found there.
