Infos:
- Used Zammad version: 5.0.3
- Used Zammad installation type: package
- Operating system: Windows 11
- Browser + version: Chrome and Edge (latest)
Expected behavior:
- When creating a new ticket as a user/customer, I expect that “Text” field (right below Title) to be a required field. I have been able to create tickets leaving this field empty on two different browsers (Chrome and Edge) - admittedly both broswers are chromium based.
If I create the job as an Agent and if I try to leave this field empty, I get a warning that advises me to fill this field (which is what is expected).
Actual behavior:
- Zammad lets me create the ticket without entering anything in the text field when creating a ticket as a user/customer.
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Try creating a ticket as a user/customer (not as an Agent). The ticket gets created.
- I have also tried this on a trial hosted instance and I got the same thing happening.
Not sure if by design this is how it should be?
