Storage Directory Migration

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 6.5.0-1748955546.85504067.noble
  • Used Zammad installation type: Package
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 24.04
  • Browser + version: Safari 18.5

Hi Community,

I’m new at using this system and I would like to get a help with the more experienced administrators. I have only 5GB available on the disk where it’s installed the Ubuntu and soon as I’m using the Zammad, it will go away. I have a secondary disk on the directory /mnt/drive2, and I would like to transfer the fell data that I have, to this secondary disk. Is there any way to change the path of the files from the /opt/zammad/storage to this another directory?

It is possible, however, requires you to -always- ensure that the folder and the stuff inside it belong to the Zammad user (r/w).
