Title: Slow loading of long mail threads

  1. What is your original issue/pain point you want to solve?
    I have mail threads in which 50+ mails are added by different contributors. These take a long time to load, especially when there are contributors with complex signatures (images, markup, …).
  2. Which are one or two concrete situations where this problem hurts the most?
  • Mail threads with 50+ mails
  • Mail threads with contributors with HTML signatures
  1. Why is it not solvable with the Zammad standard?
    I can’t specify or change settings regarding this.
  2. What is your expectation/what do you want to achieve?
    It would be useful to load only the last 5 emails for example when opening a mail thread, and when scrolling up, load older messages. Most of the time (95%) I don’t need all the previous messages.
