Set notes automatically to public


  • Used Zammad version:
  • Used Zammad installation type: (source, package, docker-compose, …)
  • Operating system: Windows
  • Browser + version: Firefox

Expected behavior:

  • Good morning,
    Is it possible to set all notes which are wirtten from agents to public, the issue is that sometimes agents fortget to set notes to public and then the customer don’t see the answers.

Hello @Steven,

to do so, as admin:

  • open any ticket
  • click on the gear on top
  • set the Note - default visibility to public
  • click Submit to save

As far as I understood, this is a global setting and can not have mixed settings. Either always internal or always public

I like also to set a warning to the reply process following the official guide: Advanced customization settings — Zammad System Documentation documentation
